Fontana S/A maintains all its production units focused on preventing and controlling environmental impacts. For this reason, its activities optimize the use of water, seeking to reduce its consumption. 100% of the generated effluents are treated, returning all the water to the Taquari River without any type of contamination.
Added to this, our products: soaps, detergents and oleochemicals are biodegradable. Our detergents are made from raw materials that reduce foam expansion and are biodegradable. Fats, by-products, and other discarded industrial materials are portrayed.
Our company also correctly directs solid waste disposal, which significantly contributes to reducing the total industrial waste from the process. In the last three years we have managed to reduce solid waste by more than 97%. Likewise, we send all organic waste generated by the company during production processes for recycling and reprocessing for composting.
